Mie Gorang Seminyak Bali - Fried Egg Noodles ($26.9): It’s served with a salad and over easy eggs on top. The eggs mixed with the noodles taste amazing and always love this kind of sticky texture. Moreover, the chicken and the fried egg also complement the noodles well. Samir Refresher ($15.9): The drink is filled with dragonfruit chunks and the coconut syrup reminds me of my childhood when my grandfather took me to Indonesian grocery store and bought one. Its flavour is wonderful and unforgettable. It’s a small Indonesian restaurant right next to Max Brenner on the exterior of the shopping centre. The person who helps me order my food is meticulous and considerate that he makes sure there’s no garlic and onion in my food. Consequently, only two dishes can go without garlic, Nasi Gorang and Mie Gorang then I chose the latter and it was delicious and authentic. In conclusion, I haven’t had Indonesian food for about a year and this is better than the Indonesian dish I had last year. However, the dishes and mocktails are expensive but superb. Overall, definitely will come back whenever I visit Gold Coast, 9.5 out of 10!

The moment you walk in, you’re transported straight to Bali with its warm, tropical vibe and authentic atmosphere. The food is incredibly delicious and truly Balinese, every dish feels like it’s made with love. What really sets this place apart is the service. The owner, the server, the cook, everyone greets you with a smile and genuinely cares about your experience. They’re friendly, attentive, and happy to share information about the dishes and Balinese culture. I would highly recommend stopping by for a meal here. And the best part? There’s 2 hours of free parking right at the back, which makes the whole experience even easier. A must-visit!

Recommended‼ I had lunch with my friend here two weeks ago, and I ordered nasi goreng. It was tasty and good. The staff were nice, which added to the overall experience. Ordered take away of mie goreng and their signature rice, but I can’t remember the exact name. The mie goreng was good, but their signature dish was not tasty. It would be great to make it more tasty and add sambal aside to make it spicy, that would be fantastic. I will definitely come back to this place!

A nice Indonesian restaurant located in Surfers Paradise. It is fully halal, and they have plenty of different Indonesian cuisines to try. Ordered the Nasi Campur Bali and the Nasi Rendang. The beef rendang has nice flavours, and has a spicy touch, taste similar to what you’s get in Indonesia. Every component of the Nasi Rendang is well made, except for the rice which can be cooked better, as it was dry and slightly overcooked at the same time. But these are minor issues that can be improved. The Nasi Campur Bali is also well made as all the components complement each other. But overall, the flavours can be more bold and intense to replicate the Indonesian taste. The service here is top notch, as the staff here greet customers and they are very welcoming. The foods also came out in a reasonable amount of time. As for the place, it has indoors and semi-outdoors, and the location is nice as it is located in the stunning area of Surfers Paradise, elevating the dining experience. Overall, this is a nice place to visit, and hopefully they can make some improvements for the foods in the future.
